CRICKET
A meeting of the.Returned Soldiers' Cricket Chib was held last evening, Mr. D. Seymour presiding. Tho meeting was. most enthusiastic, and the outlook for the forthcoming season was considered to be excellent. It was decided to enter a senior and a junior eleven in the competitions, and to commence practice on Saturday next. The following committee was elected: Messrs. 1). fcjoymour, S. J.'. Smith, I. L. Allardyce, mid J. Hudson. Mr. Allardyeo was elected delegate to tie Wellington Cricket Association, and Mr. A. W. E. Sherwood was elected secretary (pro .torn),
