FLIGHT CADETS AND THE FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE BOARD
_ Sir, —Apropos of a recent paragraph m your paper, my own experience may be of interest. After, qualifying at the New Zealand Flying School, I was granted relief by the N.Z.F.A.B. to the extent of payment of life insurance premiums. On being transferred to the R.F.C., however, that board refused to carry out its agreement,'whereupon I made application to> the British. Financial Assistance Board. My applica r tion was refused, upon the ground that tho liability was incurred outside of the British Isles.—l am, etc., ' • PILOT, R.A.F. An Aerodrome, September 8.
