ORDER OF DRUIDS
ROYAL APiCFI. CHAPTER
The monthly meeting of the Royal Arch Chapter, U.A.0.D., was hold on Wednesday night. There was a good attendance of members, the Royal Arch Druid, Bro. J. Middleton presiding. A letter was received from the Dunedin Chapter, enclosing detailed copjos of the radges' reports in connection with the recent ritual competition held in Dunedin, which were read with interest by the members. Bro. Mullins submitted the set of rules and scale of contributions and benefits drawn up by the Juvenile Lodge Committee. On the motion of Bro. Sarjeant, seconded by Bro. Johnstone, a hearty vote ot thanks was accorded to Bro. Mullins fdr the good work already done by him in connection with the Juvenile Lodge movement, and it was unanimously decided to leave the matter entirely in the hands of the Juvenile Lodge' Committee to submit tho scheme to the Grand Lodge and the Registrar of Friendly Societies.
Owing to the revised rules for tlio ritual competitions not being available, it was decided to postpone the competition until November. The revised rolls will he discussed at the meeting of the Chapter, and arrangements completed for the competition to tako place in thn various lodge rooms during November. A resolution was unanimously passed congratulating Bro. J. H. Laughton, d? Coronation Lodge, on his apnointment to the position of Grand Treasurer, recently rendered vacant by the death of the late Bro. K. Flotchcr.
