The hearing of the charges in connection with the recent burglaries was continued at the Police Court to-day. Davern, M'Lelland, and 51 Cormick pleaded guilty to one charge, and were committed for sentence. M Comtek plealed guilty and was committed tor sentence 011 the charge of the New Lynn Post Office burglary, wlnlo Papesch and Gunii, who pleaded _not guilty to the same charge, were committed for trial. Davern, M'Lelland, and Papescli pleaded guilty _to two other charges, and were committed for sentence. Patrick and Alexander Gunn pleaded not guilty to one charge, and together with Thomas Gunn not guilty to° another. All were committed for trial.
