THANKSGIVING' SERVICE. By Telegraph-Press Association. Christchuroh, October 2. A thanksgiving service marking tho Balkans victory was held last night, and was very largely attended. The service; was opened by the Mayor, who was assisted by many ministers and leading citizens.
Gloves were first worn in England in the reign of Edward 11.
