Tho financial statement showed receipts totalling £2m d-s., of whioh ili!7o w»i receivixl in capitation, against JJIOSO at tho corresponding date last year. Tho expenditure'amounted to .£1092 13s. 1 -lid., of which salaries accounted for JGBOS Os: lid., bonuses for JJIIG i 3. Id. j and general accounts ,£168.-Bs. lid. There was. o credit balanco of. JKI7O 18s. 3d., as conn pared with a debit balance of JCS-1-1 19s. 3d. at the corresponding date last year. A tjuilding committee, consisting" of. ' Messrs. Atjiin, Bennett, Ballinger,' Clarke -'andjFrost, was appointed to inspect the Mount Cook site, and make such preparations as may be possible with respect'.to, the building, and report to the board, from time to time. .
