THE SAWED-OFF SHOTGUNS
SANCTIONED BY HAGUE CONVENTION. Washington, September 30. Answering Germany's throat to shoot American prisoners found carrying sawed-off shot-guns, the State Department has ratified Berlin that prompt reprisals will be adopted.
