Tho latter captured the stations at Ezra and Gbazale, and entered Deraa and fjhiek R'saad, M miles nonth-west of Deras,, on September ■■%!, taking 1500 prisoners. Wβ, in conjunction ■ with the Arabs, were ar> proaching'Mezerib on the evening of September 28. TVe took prisoner in tho southern area by September 27 3700, and' enpturod 28 guns in the operations eastward of the Jordan, and are in contact with the enemy about El Kastal, 14 J mifee southward of Aniraan, compelling a Turkish retreat from Ammnan.
