SOLDIERS SENTENCED
DISTRICT COURT-MARTIAL. Tho finding of a. District Courtmartial held at Trentham Camp on September 11 having been conlirmed by the Commandant, New Zealand Mill* tary Forces, is hereby promulgated:— Private W. H. Sharman, Details (A 42nd), found guilty of when under orders for active service deserting His Majesty's Service and losing by neglect his equipment, clothing, and regimental necessaries, sentenced to detention for 90 days and stoppages to pay for doficeincies in kit amounting to 7s.
Privato V. C Mark, Details (F 43rd), found guilty of when under orders for active service desorting" His Majesty's service, sentenced to detontion for CO days.
In each of tho above cases sentence is mitigated so that if the accused embark for active service outsido of New Zealand, then upon embarkation the unoxpired portion (if any) of the sentence shall bo remitted and the New Zealand records endorsed accordingly.
