TEACHERS' SALARIES
The Minister oif Education (Hon. J. A. Hanan), replying to a question on Saturday, stated that he had brought before Cabinet the question of a general increase in teachers' salaries. Tho matter had been Miscus6ed, ind further consideration had been postponed until the roturn of Mr. Massey and Sir Joseph Ward to New Zealand.
