HARBOUR BOARD
Messrs. C. E. Daniell (chairman), J. G. Harkness, ■J. G. Cobbe, M. Cohen, M. AY. -Welch, C.I Norwood, W. "Wallis, and 11. A. Wright were present at the, monthly meeting of the Wellington Harbour Board, held last evening. Leave of absence was granted to Captain M'Arthur, Messrs. A. H. Hindmarsh and M'Farlane, W. Cable, and R. E. Sinclair. The statement of finances was as follows :—Current account credit, £54,1>77 9s. Cd.; imprest account credit, £1532 los. lid.'; on fixed deposit, £60,000. Payments—accounts and wages, £21,256 35." Bd.; snlaries for September, £1050 6s. 7d.; total,' £22,306 10s. 3d.
