The male members of the Brougham Hill Tennis Club gave a- very nnjoyable afternoon, to tho ladies of the club un (Saturday. 'J'hn afternoon "look the form of a combined competition. Thirty ladies and seventeen men too!; pure in the games. At the end of the day three Indies, Misses Nicholls, Barrett, and Taylor, wo even, and on the plfi.voff Jliss Barrett won. The men's winner was E. V. Bundle, W. Watkins being second and N. Wilson tliij'd.
