BRITISH RAILWAY DISPUTE SETTLED
INCREASE GRANTED. (R'ec. September 21, .5.5 p.m.) London, September 20. The railway dispute has been settled as the result of a conference between the raihvaymen and the War Cabinet. The agreement provides for a weekly increase of five shillings to male and female' adults, and half-a-crown to workers under 18. The increase acts retrospective from August s.—Aus.-N.Z. Cable Assn.
