SAILORS' FRIEND SOCIETY
Miss Blaok gave a concert to the seamen on Tuesday at the Sailors' Friend Society, when the encores were very frequent. The following received warm thanks for their efforts: Mrs. Cornish, fixe, Misses D. Black, Whitford, K. Cornish, E. Mizracke, and E. Wiren, and' Messrs. Szenes, J. Jones, Ellis, and M'Callum, and Masters ltisko and Sibel. Mr. Moore gave a short teiiperance address, and pledges followed. Tho competition prices came from Kelburn. Cheers rewarded all at tho close.
