The remarkablo collection of war pictures brought. to Now Zealiind by MM. Rogers and Bigazzi was on exhibition again ■ yesterday at the-New Zealand Academy of Pino Arts. Tjieso pictures, tho work, chiefly of French soldier artists, are being Bhown in aid of : the blind soldiers of France. They must attract.not only people who are interested in art, but all persons who wish to know-more of the war. Theso pictures deal 'with tho war in nil its phases, vividly and realistically. • They are brilliant, inspiring, and of ton pathotic. Tho Raemaeker cartoons are a vory important feature of the exhibition, but thoir grim invective appeals .to many people less strongly than the beauty of tho paintings sent by French artists, ivhoue genius is n» fine os it is varied. . The exhibition will be open for-the'rest of this week.
