THE CRYSTALATE CONTEST. Last night, at Alcock's Rooms, Dunlop, of the Wellington Federal Club, beat Stone, of tho Petone Workingmen's Club, by a comfortable margin. Stone was not playing iu his usual free style, and certainly had a bad run of the balls. At the start he held his opponent well, but after the first century had been reached Dunlop hau a-cood" tub, and managed to secure a margin which Stone could not overtake The best breaks were: Duulop, 31, 25,23, 20; Stone, 36 To-night, at 7 o'clock, Dimnson, G.P.O. Club will pby Rauki, Masterton, and at 8.30 £m. Short, flaWing, will meet Key, Workingmen's Club.
