« PUBLICAN AND TAXI-DRIVER FINED. (By Telegraph—Special Correspondent.) Carterton, September 16. In the Magistrate's Court to-day Alexander Birss, licensee of the Taratalii Hotel, was lined £l\V and Alfred Congdon, taxi-driver, of Masterton, was fined £10 for supplying liquor to Natives within a nroclaimcd area.
