FOR SAILORS' DEPENDANTS. .The- -propositi ' by'-Jfo & Newman, JI P that wool-growers should aevote the m-olits from the sale of surplus wool in England to a fund for dependents of sailors of the lloyal wavy and mercantile marine is meeting with strong support from growers iu all parts of New Zealand. ■ The following have agreed to act as trustees of the fund :-£ .ho lions. W. D S. Mac Donald, D. H. Gutline Sir Walter Buchanau, Sir James Wilson; Messrs. W. D. Hunt, J. C. Gngg, and E. Newman, M.P. . . 'Growers will shortly be circularised asking for their co-operation in the scheme.
