KELBURN SCOUTS' CONCERT

Au entertainment in aid of the funds of tho Kclburn Boys' Scouts was given by members, of the troop in tho Concert Chamber last night. Tho hall wrb crowded, and the scouts kept the big audienco amused for rather more than two hours. Tho Kelburn ladies had stalls and canvassers for the sale of sweets and'flowers, also in aid or the scouts' funds, and they sold out their •entire stocks before.tho evening was spent. Scoutmaster Lawson had most to do with the conduct of the entertainment, and probably he had more-than a. little to do with the preparation of the programme. It was a mUy.Bood selection of amusing items that the Ss had to offer. Most of the items were humorous, but once or twice- aserious item.had a placp on the proGramme, They had a camp fire scene for an introduction, then a display of physical drill, very smartly done, and then a series of songs, recitations, and s ekhes concluding the first section sketch, "M'Namara's Band," by Scoutmalter Lawson and the company. The Second part consisted of a disp ay of blindfold" knotting by a squad of the scouts, a nigger sketch, and a tew bouts of boxing.
