CAMP NOTES
' The following temporary appointments have been approved by tbe Cainp Commandant at Featherston:—Pte. J. Alexander, P.E.A.S.C., to bo corporal; S.-S. Cpl. C. R. Godfrey, P.E.A.S.C, to be farrier-sergeant; F.-Sgt. J. L. Allen, P.E.A.S.C, to bo staff sergeantfarrier; Cpls. J. F. Hewitt and J. Y. Rowland, Physical Training Staff, to bo sergeants. ' The following n.c.o.'s of tho Physical Training and Bayonet Instructional Staff, having qualified as assistant instructors of physical and bayonet training, are entitled to wear tho badge denoting same:—Cpls. C. A. M'Dotiald, C. E. Blandford, J. G. Johnston, and J. Grey. Headquarters (Camp Military Police): Ptes. AV. P. Champion and A. T. Griffin, to be lance-corporals. B Company, 43rd Reinforcements: Cpls. W. H. Rumble'an,d It. Hoggaru, to be-ser-geants;'Ptes. A. Kent,G. K. Knox, H. H. "White, R. AY. T. Larsen, and J. L. Moore, to be lance-corporals., The cup presented by the Camp Commandant at Featherston for the best kept huts and linos has been awarded to the 49th Specialist Company for the week ended September 14, with the 48th N.Z.I I '.A. second.
