SUBURBS RIFLE CLUB
The annual meeting of tho AVellhigton Suburbs Defence Rifle Club was held on Tuesday evening. The president, Mi\ AV. «. Fellingliam, occupied the chair. Thcro was a very' largo muster at mombers. The animal report and balance-sheet wero read by the secretary, Mr. Cropp. The ttal-ancc-shect showed the financial position sound, tho expenditure for the year being £70. The report gave tho members an interesting account of the year's working, which proved so ■ successful. Special reference was made to the retirement of Mr. C. R. Graham from the presidency of tho club, which was deeply regretted. Mr. Gra* ham's labours, which brought ,the club this year to such a successful point, were fully appreciated by every member of tho club. Certain work on the range was authorised, and tho opeuing of the season will in all probability take place on October 5. The election of officers resulted us (Wows:—'Patron, Mr.. J.
