Owing to ; the small yarding competition was ex-, ceedingl.v keen, and prices advanced 2s. per head. Prime wethers, 48s. 6d. to r. 535.; extra, 61s. 6d.medium to good, 425. 6d. to 455.; light, 365. 6d. to 395. : There were 72 fat pigs yarded, and _ a ;■ medium entry of stores. Competition ' • for fats was scarcely as good as last j week, but a good sale was effected at slightly reduced rates. .Stores sold •fairly Veil at' slightly higher prices.
