During the past year associations of British manufacturers' representatives have been formed in Auckland, Wellington, Cliristelnirch, and Duncdin, and a conference which is being attended by delegates from the four centres is to open to-day in tiie Wellington Chamber of Commerce. The principal business will be consideration of a proposal to affiliate the four existing associations into one New Zealand association, and generally to discuss matters relating to British trade in Now Zealand.
