A meeting of Hillside workshops employees to-day passed a motion protesting strongly against the dismissal of a fitter who was ordered 'to.,transfer to (ircymoiith, but did not do so, as lie it was impossible to move or leave his invalid wife. The meeting demanded tho reinstatement of tho member concerned. It was stated at the meeting that representations had boon made to tho Department without success.
