43rd REINFORCEMENTS COMPETITIONS. The Forty-third Reinforcements have* started their competitions "at work, and play" for the, Chingford Cup. Tho boxing contests were held during;' last week, and the entries were solarge that it was found necessary todevote two evenings to the sport. All preliminary bouts were fought oa Thursday, and the semi-finals and finals on Friday. Great interest was created by the keen competitions between the five companies. 'Thy,-.win-ner of each bout secured two points: for his company towards the Chingford Cup, and the loser ono point. Thefilial result was as follows:—A Company 18, B Company 24, C Company 38, D Company 14, E Company winning with 51 points. The chair was taken by the Camp Commandant, Colonel H. R. Potter, C.M.G. Major Talbot, Irvestigatkm • Officer, was referee. Major M'Kenzie, O.C. Records, Captain Luckham, Camp Adjutant (2),"and Lieutenant Tyndall, Works Officer, were judges. Lieutenant Stevenson, Muskety Staff, *cted as time-keeper. The organising and run- > ning of the competition was carried out by Lieutenant Stocker, M.C., Physical Training Staff. ' Tho various bouts produced some exciting contests, particularly the final of the welter-weight between Private Graham, of E Company, and Private Jeffares, of C Company, resulting in a I win for Private Graham.
