By Talegraph—Press Association. Wairoa, September 4. At the Magistrate's Court to-day a farmer, T. Romley, was chargcd with publishing in the bar of tho Wairoa Hotel a seditious statement, to wit, "I hope tile Huns conic here and beat you and tho Masscy crowd. The Hun would make us good bosses as Humphrey Bayly." Owing to tho illness of defendant's, counsel tho case was adjourned till October 9, on bail in tho amount of £100 being lodged.
