MONROEISM IN THE PACIFIC
MR. MASSEY'S VIEWS. (Rec. September 4, 11.25 p.m.) London, September 4. The lit. Hon. AV. P. Massey (Prime Minister of Now Zealand), in an article in the "Pall Mall Gazette," says that the Monroo doctrine in the Pacific, is inapplicable, where France, America, and Holland hold valuable possessions, but as the Germans are already threatening another war it would be_ madness from a commercial view-point to restore the German colonies and expose the trade routes to further submarine attack.—United Service.
