MORE GERMAN KNAVERY
THE RED CROSS MISUSED. (Rec. August 30, 7.40 p.m.) ' London, August 29. A neutral eye-witness gives the following instance of German knavery:— British v airmcn bombed and partly destroyed a.German military train, killing or wounding many- soldiers, but beforo any attempt was made to succour tho wounded a number of men began painting red crosses on the carriages, the idea being to pretend that it was a hospital train. Doubtless tho photographs arc being circulated in Gormanv and neutral countries.—Renter.
