I'NIFOKMITY OF ACTION DECIDED UPON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Dunodin, August. 29. Tim Hon. J. A. Hanan states that. he has been advised that the Education Department has tho right to appeal for Second Division teachers of primary schools called up for active service.Tho position having become so serious, and in ord«r to place all teachers on the same footing and seenro uniformity of action, ho has approved of n recommendation of the Director of Kduention that appeals lie made by the Department in cases where education ttards will not appeal.
