Ain't that 'ot stuff 1 And that if the wowsers beat us we will still 'ave to pay tho eight quids, 'cos there will be no revenoo." But the ole 'ooman is better' at nor me, so sez she, "Look ye 'ere. Bill, there's about a million of us folks, •,nd if we each drink four quids' worth, then the lot on us must drink 4,00(1:000 quids' worth, but- the revenoo only gets 1,000,000 quids; where da ilose other 3.000,000 quids go; Bill?" So I sez, "Well, 'Arriet, I dunno, but I surpose Mrß, Public House gets it." Then the ole 'ooman iez, "tVell, she'll c.et. no ;noro of my stuff. It means, Bill, that out on our eight quids she gets six and the revenoo two. Now, if those wowsers win we will have six quids if we have to .give the revenoo two quids for nuffink, but then everybody will have three quids each to spend and help tho revenoo, an' we won't 'ave to give two quids, Bill, so I'm on it, Bill, that deals my dart ole man, no matter what that 'Troo Temperance' bloke says."— 1 am, etc., "BILL."
