A NEW ARRANGEMENT.
Tho following cablegram from the R.irzht Hon. Sir Joseph Ward, Minister of Finance, London, lias been received by Hie Hon. Arthur Myers, Acting Minister of l'inance:— "Treasury liove agreed to l>ny 10 per cent, of all'meat after three months in htore, removing restnc.tion on oU,«UU ions measurement or any othci quailtit.v." ' . ... The above information will be received with much satisfaction, not only by the owners of the nieat in tore, but by the community generall/, as it will considerably 'relievo the financial position owing to the lrrge quantity' of meat that has accumulated as a result of the shortage of shipping.
