' By Telegraph.-Press Annotation. Auckland, August 26. A charge of- milking a i)ot in a registered factory was admitted at tho Police Court to-day by Valentino Grelis. Tliq evidence showed that tho accused went to a Chinese laundry and laid two doubles, Gluenot-Kon Kern and Coalition-Bon Kevc. Tho Chinaman won, and in the street tho accused congratulated him, sa.ying lie would send tho lnonoy. Ho failed to do so, and when the Chinanmi complained tn tho police tho latter received 10s., with a notesin-ned F. Harris. Accused was fined £20', and JM os. 6d. costs.
