There was a good demand for ry store sheep, but owes in lamb were . not sought after, in view of tho fact ! that those which have been in the snow- ; bound districts may not lamb well, i'at , sheep of all classes sold well, graziers i taking unfinished wethers and thus help- ; ing to keep the market firm. I'at cattle : showed a sharp rise in prices on account ; of the short supply. There was a fair ; demand for storo'cattlc, and pigs, as i usual, sold well.

Sheep.—Two and four-tooth ewes, to SBs.; four and six-tooth ewas, ISs. to 43s • Six and eight-tooth ewes, 305.; four and sis-tooth wethers, 325. to 38s. 7d.; ewe hoggets, 28s. Gd. to 325. 3d.; mixed sex hoggets, 14s. to 2fts.; wether hoggets, 17s. 6d. to 265. 9d. °
