DONATION OF .58000 TO FOUND A CHAIR.
By Telegraph—Press Association. , Dunedin, August 20. The University Council, at its meeting to-day received a donation of .£BOOO to found a chair in connection with the medical school. The council decided to wivrmlv thank the nameless donor, ami tho-question of the purpose to which tho donation is to be devoted was referred to 'the Medical Committee.
