The Chamber of Commerce, after an animated discussion, in which the setting up of a distinctively military committed to report on the findings of a military commission, was adversely commented on, passed the following resolution:— .That this chamber is strongly of opinion that ■tho National Efficiency Board, as representing (he business side of tho community, should he invited to participate in the conference, with the military Itiljunul which has been set up to advise the Governmont in regard to the recommendations contained in the report cf tho Defence Expenditure Commission.
