CAMP NOTES

The following temporary appointments aro approved of by the Camp Commandant at 'J'renthnm :—

Headquarters Staff (Camp Commandant's office).—Corpl. J. It. P. .Walsh to bo sergeant. . C Company, Forty-fifth Reinforcements. —Pte 1 . M. J. M'Gahey to be orderly-room clerk.

P Company, Forty-third Reinforcements.—Corpls. A. G. Williams, J. E. Doyle; C. J. de la Cour to be lance-ser-geants; Lce.-Corpl. A. E. Curry to be corporal.

F Company, Forty-third Reinforcements.—Corpl. G. J. Aitchwon to be quartermaster-sergeant.

The following temporary appointments have been approved by tho Camp Commandant at Featherston:—Corpl. W. B. Mac Donald, Forty-ninth, N.Z.F.A., to be temporary quartermaster-sergeant; Dvr. W. Marshall, P.E.A.B.C. (farm staff), to be corporal; Sergt. J. S. Kent-Johnston, P.E.A.S.C., to be quartermastef-eer-geant.

, Corpl. R. Scott, P.E.A.S.C, to bo eotgeimt; Corpl. U. P. Guy, E Coy., CI Camp, to bo sergeant; Scrgt. G. C. Liddell, C Coy., CI Camp, to bo quarter-master-sergeant; Corpl.. W. B. Bennett, C Coy., CI Camp, lo be sergeant. The cup presented by (he Commandant for tho best kept huts and lines for' the week ended Saturday has been awarded to the Forty-forth' Mounted Rifles, with the Forty-eighth N.Z.F.A. second.
