FIRE AT THAMES
f HOTEL AND COTTAGE DESTROYED. By Telegraph—Press Association. Thames, August 15. A fire last night totally destroyed the Govornor Ferguson Hotel and a cottage adjoining. The landlord and the inmates were abon't at the time. The origin of the fire is a mystery. The hotel was rebuilt some years ago, after it was formerly bivnit down. Tt was owned by Campbell and Khrenfried, Auckland. The only insurance known of locally is that on the furniture of. the hotel— ,£350 in the New Zealand Company's office.
