MEDICAL EXAMINATIONS
RULES FOR RESERVISTS. It has been decided that all medical examinations 61 reservists must tako place in tho districts in which the reservists reside. Thus a Wellington man wilL not bo permitted to bo medically examined in Christchurch or Auckland. A great deal of trouble has been caused in this way in the past, and complaints that ,a particular reservist has "worked a point" in his own favour have often been based on tho fact that the man has managed to get examined and rojcctcd aivay from his own district.,
Applications for the re-examination of reservists must bo mado now to the Group Commander in all cases. The man who is not satisfied with the result of the first examination must approach the officer commanding the group in which he resides. The Group Commander wilt transmit tho application to tho District Headqimrtors (Medical), and tho A.D.11.5. will forward his decision to tho Director of Recruiting, who' will advise the applicant of the outcome. A reservist ennnot demand re-examination as a matter of right.
