Comerford to be corporal. Headquarters Stalt (Camp Military Police)—Cpls, G. W. Peters and W. P. J. Shearman to be sergeants; L.-Cpl. L. Price to be corporal; Ptes. J. Trotter, W. B. Hardwick, J. A. Hume, A. C. Himiug, and C. W. Green to bo lance-corporals. The finding of a district court-mar-tial, held at Fontherston Military Camp on July 20, 191S, having been coutir/ned by the Commandant of the New Zealand Military, is promulgated as under: No. 87,276 Pte. D. H. Day, CI, Dei ails. Peatherston M.C., found guilty nf disobeying a lawful command given liy his superior officer, sentenced to undergo one year and eleven months' imprisonment with hard labour. The sentence entails forfeiture of pay under Royal Warrant from July 17, 1918. until Juno 26. 1920, on expiration of his sentence. The following n.c.o.'s and mon of the 47th Specialist Company, having obtained the necessary number of points in Part 111, Musketry Course for New Zealand Reinforcements, are entitled to marksmen's badges:-C.S.M. C. A. P. Boyle, Sgt. P. P. Skinner, Cpl. P. N. Groono, Ptes. A. E. Hansen, A. T. Olson. T. AV'akefielil, D. Cairns, ,T. E. M'Gec, J. IT. Scott, and W. A. Wallace. Cpl. C. IT. Knight, having obtained 150 points in Part 111. G.S. Musketry Course for New Zealand Reinforcements is adjudged the best shot in the '17111 Specialist Company, and is entitled to war the badge provided for. Capt. I. W. Negus, of the Physical Training Staff, having qualified as assistant instructor of physical and bayonet training, is entitled to wear tho badge denoting same.
