The wind veered round yesterday, and once more the southerly was with us-a cold wind, cold rain, and a cold, raw sky Tho advent of the southerly .was preceded by quite a pleasant blink of mild sunshine. Present indications, according, to tho official forecast, are for high southerly winds, cold, squally weather heavy rain, sleet in many parts of tho country, and snow on the hig'hor levels. _
