THE EXTRA 2,000,000 BUSHELS. The Acting-Prime Minister (Sir James Alien) stated yesterday, in reply to a question on tho subject, that it was quite true that New Zealand had purchased an additional two million busliels of wheat in Australia, in exerciso of tho option secured at the timo »hat tho last two million purchase was completed a few weeks ago. This statement, as wilt appear, is in direct contradiction of the cabled denial of the transaction made in Melbourne by Senator Russell.
