London, August 12. L'he Water-power' Committee, in a preliminary report, finds (hat excepting in Canada and New Zealand, and also to a lesser extent in" New South Wales and Tasmania, there lias been 110 systematic attempt to ascertain llio possibilities of water-power. The Committed recommends- that an Imperial Advisory Board should bo created lo assist in the development of water-power.—Aus.-N.Z Cable Assn.
