Another—the Kamo—will arrive this afternoon. , The Union Company's Poliorua will arrive hero to-day with general cargo from Dunodin, and after discharge will sail for Wcßtport. The 6tcamer John Anderson left Lyttclton shortly before 8 p.m. on Friday, for Kaikoqra, where tho auxiliary schooner May Iloward was disabled, to take her iu tow for Lyttelton. The Kahika passod Wellington Heads bound cast, at 7.20 a.m. yesterday. The Wootlon sails to-day for Lyttelton, cargo being until 4 p.m. The Calm, which is duo to arrivo hero on Friday from southern ports, will load and sail for Wanganui ou that day. The Atua reached Auckland on Thursday from Fiji, en route to Bydney. This is the first visit of the Atna to Auckland since Juno, 1915, and was mado as the result of special arrangements betwocn the New ■ Zealand Government and the Union Company to relievo the shortags of shipping since tho loss of tho Wimmora.
