TRIBUTE TO AMBASSADOR'S GREAT ' ACHIEVEMENTS. New York, August 9. The New York "Times," in an editorial, emphasises the splendid work done in tho United States by Lord Reading, Ihe British- Ambassador, and hopes that his visit to England will bo but a brief interruption of his extraordinarily useful and valuablo labours. Lord Reading has shown remarkable genius for the solution of business problems, and he was largely instrumental in the splendid success of tho co-ordination of British and American war efforts,— Aus.-N.Z.
