Mβ.; report:—At our Palmorßton North, sale on Thursday we had a moderate-' yarding of both sheen and cattle. Attendance was very small, consequently bidding was di;ll, and in favour of purchasers. We quote:—Poor owes in lamb, lZe.i medium ewes in lamb, 285.; .store cows, £5 17s.\ 6d. to £5 155.; 'springing heifers,' £6 to £9; snririginK cows, £9 10s.; yearling heifers, £2 to £3 ss. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., report :-At Mr. A. Pedersen'e salo at Stonevereek on Wednesday there wan a, large attendance of buyers, and a, particularly send pale resulted. The cows were a good line, and realised hiith value—best cowe selline from £17 to £ZF 10s.; others, £10 10s. to £16 10s. and the whole heril averaged £17 25.. The young cattle made fair values, and competition for thb implements, etc.; was particularly keen. .
