Tne evidenco was ■ the same as that given at the first trial. The jury retired at 11.20 a.m., and returned at 2.30 p.m. with a verdict: of guilty, and etroiigly recommended prisoner to mercy. In the Supreme Court this morning His Honour the Chief Justico (Sir Robert Stout) will pass sentence on tho following prisoners:— •Georgo Jaines ■ Selway and Michael Kolly, breaking and entering and theft. , William .M^Bride, |. theft. Anders Andersen, assault causing actual bodily harm; _ Lawrence Bginont Windsor and AVilliam- Claude Bright, breaking- and entering aud theft. Bichard Harold.
