ATTACKS ON MR. HUGHES
METAL COMPANY SUING FOR LIBEL. London, August 3. Tho Radical Council lias adopted a resolution complaining that Mr. \\. M. Tluglrs has not explained his personal attacks 011 British politicians, and describes' him as tho instrument of tho reactionary elements who have discredit od Australia, and a bitter partisan who is abusing the country's hospitality. Morton's metal company has issued a writ for libel and slander against Mr. Hughes.—Aus.-N.Z. Cablo Assn.
