Cable advice lias been received at the Base Records Office statins that Lieulcnant Denrdon, D.5.0., M.C., a New Zealander, at present attached to tho ind Battalion lioyal Fusiliers, has been awarded a second bar to the Minim 5 Cross. Lieutenant Dearden s next-of-kin is unknown at Base Lecords Office. Second Lieutenant Wanklvn, Royal Field Artillery (now deceased), has been awarded the Military Cross. His next-of-kin is Mr. W. H. Wanklyn, secretary of the Canterbury Jockey Club.
