At a meeting of the Wellington Genoral Labourers' Union it was decided to contribute <£50, by way of a gift, to the Trades Half Fund, and the executive will call a mooting at an early dato to consider tho proposed levy, of 2a. Gd, per membor as a further contribution. Several unions have decided in favour of tho levy; others have not yet had time to consider it.
