The developments, having proved such a valuable reef at the depth, practically assure tho syndicate turning out a most successful venture. The original owners leceive .£33,500 fully-paid shares. The advent of this ultimately big gold-producing mine will greatly stimulate the quartz mining industry, and the New Zealand Government, which assisted the. venture in its initial stages by' a subsidy of 435000. is to be congratulated on its foresight in assisting a purely New Zealand enterprise.
